Bianca Le Conte
The Therapy Hive

About Me:

Hi, I'm Bianca

I'm a Psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and founder of The Therapy Hive in Bow, East London. I create warm, judgment-free spaces where you can truly be yourself.

What Makes My Practice Different

I've had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life — each bringing their own unique story, challenges, and strengths. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, navigating relationships, facing work stress, exploring your identity, processing difficult experiences, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, I tailor therapy to fit you.

My practice welcomes everyone, with particular experience supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent people, and those from diverse backgrounds.

The Therapy Hive is now open at Studio 1E, 5 Hancock Road, Bow, East London — a warm, purpose-built therapy space with the gentle presence of Bella, my Cavapoo therapy dog, who provides an extra layer of comfort for those who find animal-assisted therapy helpful.

Whether you choose online sessions or in-person appointments at The Therapy Hive, you'll find a collaborative approach that works with how your mind actually functions.

Your Journey, Your Way

I use different therapy approaches to create something that works specifically for you — combining supportive conversation with practical tools and a deeper understanding of patterns. Sometimes we might try creative exercises or body-based practices if they feel right for your healing. Whether you're working through trauma, managing daily anxiety, exploring who you are, or simply wanting a safe space to grow, I'm here to support you.

As well as 1-2-1 therapy in the space with Bella, I also offer Walk & Talk Therapy along the canals of East London — same confidential support and care, with the added benefit of fresh air, open water, and gentle movement. Sessions meet at Make it Bow and we walk out together. [See the routes and full details below.]

Experience and Qualifications

I trained at the University of East London, earning my BSc in Counselling with First Class Honours. Before that, I completed my foundational training through CPCAB and NCFE CACHE qualifications. I'm fully registered with BACP, insured, and hold enhanced DBS clearance.

I founded The Therapy Hive in 2026, a modern therapy collective in Bow designed to bring together skilled therapists in a welcoming, purpose-built space.

My experience spans diverse settings, from supporting disabled children and young adults to providing care in dementia settings. This breadth of work has shaped how I understand connection, community, and what people need to feel truly supported.

I recently collaborated with Happiful Magazine for Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, presenting "Finding Community in a Polarised Society" — a webinar exploring how we build meaningful connections in an increasingly divided world. These insights about community and belonging flow naturally into my therapeutic work, helping clients develop stronger social bonds and navigate conflict with more ease.

Something a little different

Walk & Talk Therapy

Step outside the room. Same confidential support, same care — just fresh air, open water, and a gentle pace along East London's canals.

Walk and talk.png

Why walk and talk?

🌿 Nature supports healing Walking in green and blue spaces reduces cortisol, eases anxiety, and naturally opens conversation in ways a room sometimes can't.

🚶 Side-by-side feels different Walking together removes the pressure of direct eye contact, making it easier to speak about the things that are hardest to say.

🔒 Your confidentiality, protected Everything shared on our walks is held in the same confidence as anything said in the room. We have a simple, discreet system for privacy around others.

📍 Together from the start We always meet at Make it Bow and walk out together — you'll never need to find a spot alone or wait somewhere unfamiliar.

Our routes

All walks start and end at Make it Bow, Bow, East London.

50-minute sessions — £90

"I'm pleased to recommend Bianca Le Conte for her thoughtful, progressive, and deeply grounded contribution to the field of psychotherapy.

As an MBACP registered psychotherapist with a First Class BSc in Counselling, Bianca brings both academic excellence and clinical depth to her work. Her integrative training and pluralistic approach allow her to meet clients where they are — not where theory insists they should be. That flexibility is particularly powerful in her trauma-informed work with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients, where sensitivity, nuance, and adaptability are essential.

What makes Bianca especially distinctive is her commitment to creating spaces that feel safe, affirming, and human. Founding The Hive in Bow reflects her entrepreneurial courage and dedication to community-focused practice. Her work from Selfspace's Soho office further demonstrates her ability to operate across different therapeutic environments while maintaining consistency in care.

Her animal-assisted therapy alongside Bella, her Cavapoo, is not a gimmick — it's a thoughtful extension of her relational approach. It speaks to her understanding that healing is not purely cognitive; it's nervous-system based, embodied, and relational.

Bianca embodies the kind of therapist who takes both client wellbeing and practitioner sustainability seriously. That balance matters. It prevents burnout, deepens presence, and ultimately strengthens therapeutic outcomes.

I would confidently recommend Bianca to anyone seeking a therapist who is skilled, affirming, innovative, and grounded in genuine care."

1

Person-Centered Therapy

Together, we'll build a genuine, caring relationship where you can be your authentic self, leading your own journey of self-discovery at your pace. I'm here to support and celebrate your unique experiences and perspectives, helping you unlock your full potential.

2

Psychodynamic Therapy

In psychodynamic therapy, we explore how your past shapes your present. By examining childhood experiences and relationships, we uncover unconscious patterns affecting your life today. This self-discovery process helps you make intentional choices and build fulfilling relationships. Our therapeutic relationship provides a safe space for exploration, leading to deeper self-understanding and personal growth.

3

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you tackle negative thoughts and behaviours head-on. We'll identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge them, and develop more balanced perspectives. You'll learn practical coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and depression. By changing both thoughts and actions, CBT empowers you to build resilience and take control of your well-being.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

I offer a warm, judgment-free space to explore your anxiety and relationship challenges. We'll uncover root causes, develop tailored coping strategies, and build practical skills. By blending various therapeutic approaches, we'll create a personalized plan that honours your unique experiences and cultural background. Together, we'll work towards greater self-awareness, improved communication, and more fulfilling relationships.

How Long will it take?

Making changes in your life takes time and hard work.  There are no shortcuts to personal transformation. While you may find some quick wins from starting therapy, it will usually take commitment and repetition to make real and substantial change.  At the beginning, it’s hard to know exactly how long the process will take. This is a topic you are welcome to bring up and talk about with your therapist. It doesn’t have to be a mystery.

Getting Started:

To begin, send me an email to schedule an initial session. This session will help us determine if we're a good match for working together. If we decide to proceed, we'll arrange weekly 50-minute sessions, online. Bi-weekly sessions are available upon request, though weekly sessions are recommended for consistent progress. I'm here to support your journey towards personal growth and well-being.
