About Me.

Hi, I'm Bianca

I'm a BACP registered therapist who creates warm, judgment-free spaces where you can truly be yourself. With my First Class Honours degree in Counselling from the University of East London, I bring both

professional expertise and genuine understanding to support your journey.

What Makes My Practice Different

I've had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life - each bringing their own unique story, challenges, and strengths. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, navigating relationship challenges, facing work stress, exploring your identity, processing difficult experiences, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, every experience has deepened my understanding that there's no "one size fits all" approach to healing.

My practice welcomes everyone, and I have particular experience supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent people, and those from diverse backgrounds.

My therapy space in Bow, East London, offers something special: the gentle presence of Bella, my Cavapoo Emotional Support Animal, who provides an extra layer of comfort for those who find animal-assisted therapy helpful. Whether you choose online sessions or in-person meetings, you'll find a collaborative approach that works with how your mind actually functions.

Your Journey, Your Way

I use different therapy approaches to create something that works specifically for you - combining supportive conversation with practical tools and deeper understanding of patterns. Sometimes we might try creative exercises or body-based practices if they feel right for your healing. Whether you're working through trauma, managing daily anxiety, exploring who you are, or simply wanting a safe space to grow, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Experience and Qualifications

I earned my First Class Honours BSc in Counselling (80%) from the University of East London, building on foundational CPCAB and NCFE CACHE qualifications in Counselling Skills and Theory. As a fully registered BACP member with comprehensive insurance and enhanced DBS clearance, I bring both academic excellence and real-world experience from working across diverse communities - from supporting disabled children and young adults to providing compassionate care in dementia settings.

My expertise in community dynamics and social connection has been recognised through my collaboration with Happiful Magazine for Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, where I presented the webinar "Finding Community in a Polarised Society". This presentation explored the critical role of community in mental health, offering practical strategies for building meaningful connections and navigating conflict in our increasingly divided world - skills I integrate into my therapeutic practice to help clients develop stronger social bonds and support networks.

Confidentiality and Professionalism

Your privacy matters. BACP-registered, fully insured, DBS checked - what you share stays private except for serious safety concerns.

We'll cover our simple therapy contract in session one. Clear boundaries, complete confidentiality.

Questions? Ask anytime. Your safety and trust come first.

Types of Therapy and Benefits

1

Person-Centered Therapy

My person-centered approach creates a warm, judgment-free space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I believe in your innate wisdom and capacity for growth. Together, we'll build a genuine, caring relationship where you can be your authentic self, leading your own journey of self-discovery at your pace. I'm here to support and celebrate your unique experiences and perspectives, helping you unlock your full potential.

2

Psychodynamic Therapy

In psychodynamic therapy, we explore how your past shapes your present. By examining childhood experiences and relationships, we uncover unconscious patterns affecting your life today. This self-discovery process helps you make intentional choices and build fulfilling relationships. Our therapeutic relationship provides a safe space for exploration, leading to deeper self-understanding and personal growth.

3

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you tackle negative thoughts and behaviours head-on. We'll identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge them, and develop more balanced perspectives. You'll learn practical coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and depression. By changing both thoughts and actions, CBT empowers you to build resilience and take control of your well-being.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

I offer a warm, judgment-free space to explore your anxiety and relationship challenges. We'll uncover root causes, develop tailored coping strategies, and build practical skills. By blending various therapeutic approaches, we'll create a personalized plan that honours your unique experiences and cultural background. Together, we'll work towards greater self-awareness, improved communication, and more fulfilling relationships.

Counselling

How Long will it take?

Making changes in your life takes time and hard work.  There are no shortcuts to personal transformation. While you may find some quick wins from starting therapy, it will usually take commitment and repetition to make real and substantial change.  At the beginning, it’s hard to know exactly how long the process will take. This is a topic you are welcome to bring up and talk about with your therapist. It doesn’t have to be a mystery.

Getting Started:

To begin, send me an email to schedule an initial session. This session will help us determine if we're a good match for working together. If we decide to proceed, we'll arrange weekly 50-minute sessions, online. Bi-weekly sessions are available upon request, though weekly sessions are recommended for consistent progress. I'm here to support your journey towards personal growth and well-being.
